The fertilizer situation in Lesotho has left farmers worried, as it has become scarce within the country, affecting the planting season, according to the Principal Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Lereko Masupha.
Masupha said the areas mostly affected are the Mohale’s Hoek district and parts of Mafeteng, and the ministry has sent experts and equipment to assist, but it’s also struggling in other areas, and nationwide.
