Who We Are
The Lesotho Purpose Driven Church PEACE PLAN (LPDC) is a vibrant movement aimed at transforming lives, communities, and nations by empowering churches to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. We believe in the power of the church to bring about positive change and healing in society. Our goal is to equip local church leaders, mobilize communities, and spread the love of Christ to every corner of Lesotho, and beyond. Through our collaborative efforts, we aim to ignite a nationwide movement that will reach the unreached and unengaged populations with the message of salvation.
LPDC has positioned itself as a key driver in equipping and empowering local pastors and church leaders. Our approach is deeply rooted in the biblical model, offering a clear strategy for church growth, community transformation, and individual spiritual maturity. We do this by promoting the purposes of the church, as outlined in the Bible, which focus on worship, ministry, fellowship, evangelism, and discipleship.
Our mission is to equip church leaders to faithfully live out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission by developing and sustaining healthy churches that transform lives. We are committed to empowering local congregations to take responsibility for their communities, advancing God’s kingdom by loving God, loving their neighbors, and making disciples of all nations.
The Lesotho Purpose Driven Church PEACE PLAN seeks to spark a movement of churches united for the common good of their communities. Our approach is simple yet transformative: strengthen church leaders, mobilize congregations, and provide the tools and resources they need to reach their full potential in Christ.
Our vision is to ignite a nationwide movement of healthy, purpose-driven churches that serve as agents of spiritual and social transformation across Lesotho. We envision a spiritual awakening where every local church is equipped and empowered to meet both the spiritual and practical needs of its people, spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ with lasting impact.
We believe that healthy churches are the foundation for a transformed society. By nurturing vibrant, biblically grounded congregations that minister holistically—spiritually, emotionally, and socially—we see a future where every community in Lesotho experiences the love and power of the gospel in tangible ways.

Our Strategy
Our strategy focuses on developing local churches that embrace the PEACE PLAN, which stands for:
- Planting Churches that Promote Reconciliation: We focus on planting churches that bring people together, building bridges of reconciliation in divided communities.
- Equip Servant Leaders: We empower church leaders by providing biblical training and leadership development programs, ensuring they are well-equipped to lead their congregations and communities effectively.
- Assist the Poor: By partnering with local organizations and ministries, we assist the poor through initiatives like food distribution, healthcare programs, and educational support.
- Care for the Sick: We provide medical care, health education, and resources to help communities combat illness and improve their overall well-being.
- Educate the Next Generation: Investing in the next generation is key to ensuring long-term transformation. We focus on youth programs, educational initiatives, and mentorship opportunities that foster spiritual, emotional, and academic growth.
Our strategy is holistic and community-focused, addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals while also promoting spiritual growth and church health.
The Role of the Church in Lesotho
The church has a vital role in the transformation of society. In Lesotho, where challenges such as poverty, disease, and illiteracy are prevalent, the church is uniquely positioned to lead efforts that address both spiritual and social needs. Through compassionate outreach, community development programs, and strong preaching, the church can be a beacon of hope and healing.
LPDC seeks to empower churches across Lesotho to take a proactive role in addressing these challenges, working in partnership with other sectors of society to build a more just and equitable nation. The local church is the foundation for transformation, and we aim to help it fulfill its God-given calling to be salt and light in the world.
